I feel like i'm perpetually returning to this board without making any too great contributions.

Got back from the beautiful Byron Bay just last night and had a hilarious time. We had to get our keys from a liquor shop because the real estate agent had closed, it was raining and we were thoroughly drenched. Got to the house at about eight thirty and ordered some italian (pizza, pasta, etc.) and didn't get to eating until around 9.30pm then we got to talking (tv didn't work) and around 3am, there's a blackout. I thought one of my friends was about to shat her pants. We trudged off to bed without any light, using only the light emitted from our mobile phones and were accordingly welcomed at about 6am with lights and a blazing radio. Here ends the adventures of our first day.

We managed fairly well all things considered, we even cooked our own dinners for most of the nights to no great drama and got well and truly burnt (by the sun) riding bikes, snorkelling and kyaking (very very bad wet suit tan line).

all in all, a good time.

oh lord.
when i read that line i laughed hysterically.
been there.
of course, at the time, mobile phones weren't invented yet (at least, to the non-concious public).

what a world in which we live.
